I don’t tend to put a lot of weight (no pun intended!) in weight loss claims from a bottle of pills. When I was a kid, my mom took me to the doctor for something for my chubbiness. It was the 60’s. He gave me amphetamines. I was cleaning the medicine cabinet with a toothbrush at 10:00pm.
So I was a little hesitant when I was offered the opportunity to try NEW Garcinia/Cleanse ADVANCED Fast Weight Loss Kit. I know that the Garcinia Cambogia has been talked about by a certain celebrity doctor. But since I was offered the items for free – I thought what the heck.
After reading some of the Amazon online reviews, I must admit that I have not taken the Detox pills daily only because I work and I can’t really afford to have it work ‘too well’ if you know what I mean. But I will when I’m on vacation and at home next week.
I have been taking the Garcinia and two things – 1) it seems to work as an appetite suppressant as I told feel hungry throughout the day, which is great for someone like me who is a snacker. and 2) I have lost a couple of pounds – but it’s also been the weeks before Christmas and there has been food everywhere at work and parties and cookie exchanges, etc. and I generally put on a few pounds during this period. So the fact that I have lost anything is pretty amazing to me. Because I have not tried in the least to diet (and I realized it was the worst time to try out a diet aid!).
So, I will continue taking the Garcinia and then the Detox (if I do ok with it I’ll continue with it on the 7 day cycles) and hope to see even more results after the holidays.
And I haven’t had the urge to clean any medicine cabinets!

<I get samples/full size skin/eye cremes all the time through subscription boxes and other online groups. And while most of those are ok products, it’s really rare to see an immediate change or something that happens sooner than later. So, when I was offered the Valentia True Glow Eye Cream free for my review, I was really expecting the same – try it for a couple of weeks and see if I saw any difference.
The eye cream is suppose to help with dark circles, fine lines, etc. I have terrible dark circles, especially in the morning. I think it’s because I sleep on my side. I started using the Valentia and was amazed to see almost immediate improvement in both the dark circles and the puffiness I have in the morning. It’s a yellowish/gold color and comes out of the pump with just enough to use at a time. The consistency is fairly thick and I couldn’t really tell any fragrance, etc. It seems to absorb fairly quickly into my skin. And in the morning, I look so much more awake – so nice not having to try so hard to cover the dark circles with concealer, etc. I haven’t seen as much improvement on fine lines but that’s ok. I plan on continuing to use this product and so glad I’ve found something that actually does what it says it will do.

So, my latest hobby is reviewing items and trying new and old familiar items. One of the companies I use is Crowdtap. Mostly they have polls and surveys but you can also receive items from their sponsors to review. I was asked to try Listerine Cool Mint Antiseptic mouthwash. They sent me a large bottle to try. Not some little sample!
Now, I remember Listerine from my youth. It was the ‘gold’ Listerine and honestly – it was nasty! It was mediciny and strong and probably what moonshine tastes like. So, I wasn’t sure about this review opportunity.
The first morning I think I used too much because my mouth was on fire within 10 seconds. The flavor was much better but it’s still 20+% alcohol. The next day I used about half the amount and it was much better.
If you’re not used to it, you may have work up to the recommended 30 seconds of swishing like I did. But it really does leave your mouth feeling great. It has changed my mind about using Listerine.
If you want to try Crowdtap, just go to crowdtap.com (@crowdtap) and of course you can find Listerine at listerine.com (@listerine)
